Cooper's Closet started in September 2002 in Stephanie's garage in Columbus, Mississippi.  She was inspired to start this sale when her son, Cooper  was born and she discovered how expensive children's clothing and toys were!  She started the sale as a way to earn some extra money while staying home with her son.

Our first sale started with 12 consignors in the garage and was such a huge success we searched for a larger location for our second sale.  Our second sale more than doubled our consignors and more than tripled the number of items consigned and was held at the Wingate Inn in Columbus, MS.  This location was more than three times the size of our garage!  Our next three sales were held at the Shops at Brickerton in Columbus.  This location allowed us to grow exponentially!  We are truly blessed!

In April 2004 Stephanie returned to her home town of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  At this same time, Rebecca Partain joined Stephanie in making Cooper's Closet become a Golden Triangle Event!  Rebecca and her family make their home in Columbus.  Rebecca's three children attend Columbus schools and her family is active in their church.  Adding Rebecca to Cooper's Closet is a real blessing!

We continued our success and got 2005 off with a bang!  Our Spring and Summer 2005 sale was held in March at Leigh Mall.  We had 5,000 square feet and our largest turn out ever!  Rebecca Partain and I are working harder than ever to make Cooper's Closet a Golden Triangle Event!  We are planning on many more years to come in Columbus and the Golden Triangle!
